THREAT ASSESSMENT
The
WHSD has established a threat assessment team for each school in our
district and a district-wide team. The purpose of these teams represent
the Board's commitment to protecting the health, safety and the welfare
of its students and the school community and providing the resources and
support to address identified student needs. The Board has adopted a
Threat Assessment policy (236.1) to address student behavior that may
indicate a threat to the safety of a student, others students, school
employees, school facilities, the community and others.
