Parent Teacher Conferences

October 24, 2022

Dear Parents/Guardians,

On November 10th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., we will be conducting our parent/teacher conferences. This year we will be offering our conferences virtually from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and In-person from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

For parents who chose to utilize the virtual option, each of our teachers have created 10-minute time slots from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. using Signup.com. The links for each teacher's unique Signup.com and conference Zoom links are attached to this letter. Many of these links are long and can be tedious to type into your browser so each teacher also posted them in your son/daughter's individual Google Classrooms and can be easily assessed from there as well. Below are the specific steps for parents to take to schedule virtual conferences:

• Utilize each teacher's Google Classroom pages to get the necessary Sign Up.com and Zoom links. Your son/daughter can be helpful in getting into the Google Classrooms, but this letter also has all links attached as well.
• Visit the Sign Up.com links (attached) of the teachers you would like to conference with, and then select the times for those teachers that are most convenient to you. Please avoid scheduling yourself with two teachers at the same time.
• At the times you selected, go to the respective teachers' unique Zoom link (attached). You will be placed in a virtual waiting room until it is your turn. If the teacher does not recognize your display name on Zoom, they may message you privately to confirm who is in the waiting room.

For parents who chose to attend in-person conferences from 6pm-8pm, you can attend at any time during that time frame and visit any of your son/daughter's teachers.

For parents who chose to attend in-person conferences from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., you can attend at any time during that time frame and visit any of your son/daughter's teachers. Our Parent/teacher conferences are an important step in ensuring that vital collaboration occurs between parents and teachers in an effort to ensure academic growth of your child. Therefore, we strongly encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity. Thank you in advance for your patience and efforts in making parent/teacher conferences successful. Please contact me with any questions or for any assistance you may need in developing your schedule of conferences.

Sincerely,
John D. Kretschmer
